I have been awarded the Liebster Blog award

I am awarded the Liebster Blog Award.  How Cool!

Thank you Marelize Ries for awarding my blog for the Liebster Award. I got very excited when I received Marelize's email. I very much appreciate all the encouragement I receive from my fellow online quilter bloggers.  

The Liebster Award (German for favorite) is for bloggers with 200 followers or less. As a recipient of the award, you have the chance to thank and link back to the blogger who gave it to you as well as pass it along to five other deserving blogs.

The rules of engagement for this award:

• Thank the person that nominated you on your blog and link back to them.

I started quilting in 2005 after much contemplation I bit the bullet and took some time out of my very busy schedule and took a beginners course with Wendy Saclair.  I have not looked back since then.  Then my son took up blogging and developed the 'build your own computer' blog and after watching him having so much fun with it I thought that why not give this a go as it looked like a nice way to document my progress. That opened up a whole new world to online quilters and quilting resources.  My blogging has proved worthwhile as now I have discovered so many interesting bloggers and learning so much on a daily basis.  

I will also take the time to visit all the nominees on the Liebster Blog Award and make sure I am a follower as meeting new quilt bloggers is so much fun.
